The paper show is on display at the lobby of the main library of the Mariano Marcos State University from August to
September. It reminds everyone that “
To be good citizens, people need to go
out into the community and get to
know other people… Rather than feel
powerless against society’s many ills,
people seek personal way to make a
contribution.”
Consisting of 17 panels, the paper show manifests that the United States
remains a country remarkable for the beauty and variety of its land and its
bounty. The first panel bears the opening words of the popular song “
America the
Beautiful,” written in 1893 by Katherine Lee Bates:
O beautiful
for spacious skies, For amber
waves of grain, For purple
mountain majesties Above the
fruited plain!
The paper
show is displayed at the lobby of the ASRC until the end of September 2007.
