To join the world in the celebration of the 62nd
Year of the United Nations Organization, the ASRC conducted a presentation on
“Fighting Against Aids: Paving the Way to a Healthier Living” through a
lecture, film viewing and paper show at the Baay Elementary School, City of
Batac, Ilocos Norte, on October 17, 2007. ASRC Area Director Lucena R. Felipe
served as the
resource person. Ninety-four (94) pupils, teachers and parents

joined in the observation of
Ramadan 2007 through the paper show on “Islam in America” displayed in front of the
Center throughout the month.
